Francesco Fabris


Sound artist, composer and musician working with live electronics, sound, light and intermedia installations, AV works and recording studio productions as producer, mixer and engineer.

Interested in themes and techniques connected with data sonification, audio spatialization, sound synthesis, foley and field recordings manipulation. His live performances are often based on unreleased materials and improvisation using tape manipulation techniques on concrete sounds and binaural recordings, deep sub-bass frequencies, noise & textures from processed acoustic instruments and real-time generated visual contents.

Based in Reykjavík since 2017 as studio head engineer, producer and musician at the legendary Greenhouse Studios  (Björk, Sigur Rós, Brian Eno, Kanye West), has been working on numerous Bedroom Community releases and collaborative projects for screen, stage, live and recorded mediums. He has worked alongside artists including Valgeir Sigurðsson, Ben Frost, Damien Rice, Swans, Dustin O’Halloran, JFDR, Daniel Pioro, Liam Byrne, Nadia Sirota, Sandro Mussida and

His musical contributions include the film scores ‘The County’, ‘An Acceptable Loss’, ‘Little Moscow’, video games soundtracks ‘Twin Mirrors’, ‘Island of Winds’, the theatre plays ‘Woman Undone’, ‘Medea’, the stage artworks ‘SAFE’, ‘Valley’  ‘and ‘DARK’ Netflix Series.

He has performed worldwide with different projects in clubs, festivals, galleries, residencies and theatres.
