Sound artist, composer and musician who since 2006 has been working with live electronics, sound, light and intermedia installations, AV works and recording studio productions as producer, mixer and engineer.
Interested in themes and techniques connected with data sonification, audio spatialization, sound synthesis, foley and field recordings manipulation. His live performances are often based on unreleased materials and improvisation using tape manipulation techniques on concrete sounds and binaural recordings, saturated textures with deep sub-bass frequencies and real-time processed visual contents.
Currently based at Greenhouse Studios c/o Bedroom Community in Reykjavík working on numerous projects with diverse artists, his recent collaborations include Valgeir Sigurðsson’s film scores ‘An Acceptable Loss’, ‘Little Moscow’, soundtrack for the videogame ‘Twin Mirror’, the theatre plays ‘Medea’, ‘Woman Undone” and Ben Frost’s music for ‘DARK’ Netflix Series.
