Francesco Fabris


Sound artist, producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer.
Working with live electronics, interactive sound-art, new media installations, AV performances, video works and recording studio productions.

He started studying classical piano at the age of five and then moved to jazz & rock guitar. Later he became mainly focused on electronic music, sound design, audiovisual composition and audio engineering.

In his personal works he likes to combine concrete & organic elements, electronic & digital sounds and real-time, generative or pre-edited visual contents. Having been passionate about astronomy and biological science from the young age, space and nature are recurrent themes in his projects.

He collaborates as producer, programmer, recording & mixing engineer with various artists working in his private studio and in other facilities around Italy and Europe.
He’s currently head engineer at Greenhouse Studios in Reykjavík.

He owns a B.A. (with highest distinction) in Electroacoustic Music Composition and Multimedia Technologies from the Conservatory “A. Steffani” of Castelfranco(TV), studied at the Academy of Music, Intermedia Art Department and SME Studio of Electroacoustic Music in Krakow, and graduated in Contemporary Writing and Production at the Cpm Music Institute in Milan.

He has performed hundreds of shows with different projects in clubs, festivals, galleries and theatres throughout Italy, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Russia, India, Poland, England, Switzerland, Greek, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Lebanon and Czech Republic.
