Interdisciplinary artist, composer and musician working with live electronics, a/v works, intermedia installations and recording studio productions as producer and engineer.

His personal work generates from procedures that depict sound and visual forms out of a naturalistic context, while often filtering the outcome with machine-driven techniques. The main ideas gravitate towards field and foley recordings manipulation, acoustic ecology, sound synthesis, audio spatialization and data sonification as composition tools.

He has released via labels such as Room40, Bedroom Community, INNI and Until Riots.

His musical contributions include the Oscar and BAFTA-winning score ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, ‘DARK’ series, ‘The Old Guard’, ‘Against the Ice’, ‘Defending Jacob’, ‘Silo’, ‘Without Remorse’, ‘For Life’, ‘Fresh’ and many other including video games, theatre plays, operas and stage artworks. 

Based in Reykjavík at Greenhouse Studios, has been collaborating on projects for screen, live and recorded mediums alongside artists including Valgeir Sigurðsson, Ben Frost, Swans, Jónsi, Alex Somers, Dustin O’Halloran, Atli Örvarsson, Volker Bartelmann/Hauschka, Damien Rice, JFDR, 404.zero and many others.

He’s the founder of ‘Outer Fields’, a platform for field recording based projects, libraries and plug-ins and serves as the regional representative in Iceland for Quiet Park International.

He has performed worldwide with solo and collaborative projects in clubs, festivals, galleries, residencies and theatres.

He has created music and sound contents for brands including Maserati, Toyota, Porche, Deutsche Bank, Monclare, MSC, and has been featured on The Creator Projects, Rolling Stone, Rainforest Alliance, Arduino, RadioRai, Vice, MTV, DeeJay Tv, La Repubblica. As FOH engineer, visual and light programmer has worked at festivals such as Semibreve, Scopitone, Montreux Jazz Festival, Philharmonie de Paris.

Awards include: winner of ACC_R Creators 2020 (South Korea), PRIX CIME 2017 (Texas), S. Fedele Musica 2016 (Milan), DE.MO./ MOVIN’UP 2015, T.A.T. (2011, Rome) and nominated “Producer of the Year” at the Icelandic Music Awards 2022.

He holds a B.A. (with highest distinction) in Electroacoustic Music Composition and Multimedia Technologies from the Conservatory “A. Steffani” of Castelfranco (TV), studied at the Academy of Music, Intermedia Art Department and SME Studio of Electroacoustic Music in Krakow, and graduated in Contemporary Writing and Production at the Cpm Music Institute in Milan.
